This report analyzes the possibility of creating a global database of politically exposed persons by
anti-corruption civic activists and investigative journalists in different countries. It examines the possible content of such a database; checks the parameters of the necessary software platform, which would have the capacity to be adjusted to legal, technical, and other peculiarities of different countries; and it analyses the possible legal, security, and sustainability obstacles in keeping such a database open to the general public.
