In 2020, the CEELI Institute held an online course on Remote Judging to enable peer-to-peer learning on remote judging. The course resulted in a questionnaire designed by some participants to gather information from judges across the region on their experiences of digitalization and conducting work online. 70 judges from 19 countries responded, mostly from the institute's Judicial Exchange Network. This study aims to summarize the survey results; it is merely a snapshot of individual experiences and does not claim to be a comprehensive nor representative reflection of the level of digitalization in the courts overall in the region.
