The workshop will focus on good practices and examples in detecting and addressing misconduct in procurement processes, including based on examples from Ukraine in the use of e-procurement platforms. The discussions will explore the collaboration between data analysts, investigative journalists and anti-corruption activists and lawyers in detecting irregularities in procurement processes, raising awareness of integrity risks and follow up via legal avenues. The workshop will also cover the role of national anti-corruption agencies and cooperation and engagement with civil society, journalists, national anti-corruption agencies and other relevant stakeholders.
Experts from the Open Contracting Partnership will lead the discussions and share insights during the workshop. Open Contracting Partnership is a silo-busting collaboration across governments, businesses and civil society working to open up and transform public procurement around the world.
This workshop is open to civil society organizations and anti-corruption watchdogs, journalists, and national anti-corruption agencies from Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia.
